Arm & Hammer Pet Stain and Odor Eliminator 32 Fl Oz Pack of 2

Description

Product Overview

Arm & Hammer’s Pet Stain and Odor Eliminator is engineered to tackle the most persistent pet-related messes with a blend of scientifically proven cleaning agents. The 32 Fl Oz spray bottle delivers a precise, even mist that penetrates deep into carpet fibers, upholstery weave, and other porous surfaces, breaking down protein‑based stains while simultaneously neutralizing odor molecules. The core of the formula leverages the natural deodorizing power of baking soda, which absorbs and traps volatile compounds, and the stain‑fighting strength of OXICLEAN, a patented oxygen‑based cleaning system that lifts grime without harsh chemicals. This combination ensures that each application not only removes visible discoloration but also eliminates the underlying cause of unpleasant smells, leaving a fresh, clean environment for both pets and their owners.

Designed with convenience in mind, the ergonomic spray nozzle provides a controlled flow, allowing users to target specific spots or cover larger areas with minimal effort. The product dimensions of 4.8 × 3 × 10.6 inches and a lightweight 2.4‑pound bottle make it easy to store in utility closets, laundry rooms, or even in a car for on‑the‑go clean‑ups. The packaging is fully recyclable, reflecting Arm & Hammer’s commitment to sustainability while maintaining the durability needed for everyday use. With a proven track record—over 1,600 positive customer reviews and a high rating of 4.6 stars—the eliminator has earned its place among the top‑selling pet stain removers in the market.

Beyond its primary function, the product is safe for use around pets and children when used as directed. It contains no bleach, phosphates, or harsh solvents, reducing the risk of skin irritation or damage to delicate fabrics. The formula is also pH‑balanced to protect the integrity of carpet dyes and upholstery finishes, ensuring that colors remain vibrant after repeated applications. This safety profile makes it an ideal choice for households with multiple pets, frequent visitors, or anyone seeking a reliable, non‑toxic cleaning solution.

Usage

For optimal results, shake the bottle well before each use to ensure the active ingredients are evenly distributed. Apply the spray directly onto the stained area, covering the surface thoroughly but avoiding oversaturation. Allow the solution to sit for 3‑5 minutes; this dwell time enables the baking soda to absorb odor particles while the OXICLEAN activates to break down the stain matrix. After the waiting period, gently blot the area with a clean, dry cloth or use a low‑speed vacuum to lift the loosened debris. For stubborn stains, a second application may be necessary, followed by a light agitation with a soft‑bristled brush.

The eliminator is versatile enough for a range of indoor environments, including living rooms, bedrooms, car interiors, and pet‑friendly spaces such as kennels or grooming stations. It works effectively on a variety of fabrics, from synthetic blends to natural fibers like wool and cotton, as well as on hard surfaces like tile and sealed wood when used sparingly. Users are encouraged to test a small, inconspicuous area first to confirm colorfastness, especially on antique or delicate upholstery.

When dealing with high‑traffic zones or areas prone to repeated accidents, regular maintenance with the spray can prevent odor buildup and extend the life of carpets and furniture. Incorporating the product into a weekly cleaning routine helps maintain a consistently fresh atmosphere, reducing the need for more aggressive cleaning methods that could wear down materials over time.

FAQ

Can I use this product on colored carpets without causing fading?

Yes. The formula is pH‑balanced and free of harsh chemicals, making it safe for most colored carpets. We recommend testing a small hidden area first to ensure colorfastness, especially on delicate or antique fabrics.

Is the spray safe for pets after it dries?

Absolutely. Once the spray has fully dried, the residual ingredients are non‑toxic and pose no risk to pets. The baking soda component is a common household deodorizer, and the OXICLEAN residues break down into harmless by‑products.

How often should I apply the eliminator to prevent odor buildup?

For high‑traffic areas or frequent accidents, applying the spray weekly helps maintain a fresh environment. In less active zones, a monthly application is sufficient to keep odors at bay.

Can this product be used on leather furniture?

The spray is safe for sealed leather surfaces when used sparingly. Apply a light mist, allow it to sit briefly, then wipe with a soft cloth. Always perform a spot test first to confirm compatibility with the leather finish.

What should I do if a stain persists after two applications?

If a stain remains after two treatments, consider using a soft‑bristled brush to gently work the solution into the fibers before blotting. For particularly stubborn stains, a professional cleaning service may be required, but most everyday messes are fully resolved with our formula.
